Originally bought on Orange it was locked but is now unlocked.
The firmware was generic WWE but as HTC don't allow phones from carriers to be registered on their site (they check this by IMEI) you can't updates from them.
so, in order to get the new firmwares, I have been to XDA developers and put the hard SPL lock on (1.40 OliNex unsigned), upgraded the radio to 1.00.25.05 and then installed RUU_Diamond_HTC_Europe_1.93.401.2
this means from now on you can just get the latest firmware from XDA developers as soon as it comes out and it will install in the normal way
its black, fully boxed with nothing used but the phone and battery. The phone itself is unmarked. The back cover was also replaced with a generic one as the original has an Orange logo
offers from £200 please, sorry but no trades thanks

What's the hacked ROM like? Is it faster than the stock ROM, which had "performance issues" when I played with one at a HTC booth?

this isn't a hacked rom, its the latest firmware thats available from HTC as I don't usually go for "customised" roms myself
but yes, this version certainly showed some nice speed improvements over the firmware it originally came with
£220 delivered has been offered so far (thanks)
