G900 Rreception Problems |

I recently bought a G900 in Hong Kong and brought it back to Vancouver, and not knowing what tri-band and quad-band was before, I expected to get at least the same reception as my old phone (Z520). I frequently get two or less bars of reception. I miss and drop a lot of calls, and sometimes I get text messages an hour or two late. Is there any way to improve the reception? I don't know too much about phones, but this is just too inconvenient. |

I tried turning off 3G and it doesn't seem to help. Does anyone else know if there is a way to fix this problem? |

try inserting a sim card from another network to see if i'ts a network problem if the reception is the same then i'm afraid that you will have to go to your nearest sonyericsson service center, all se phones have a global warranty of 2 years from date of purchase (provided you show receipt of purchase)

Have you tried updating the firmware just in case it's a firmware issue?
Has it been dropped at all or come into contact with any moisture - could be a loose/dislodged antenna or some slight moisture damage.
