Oh goodie!!! Gonna mod my P990 right now!
Edit: I've downloaded the files from Rapidshare numerous times, can't seem to be able to extract the P990 camdriver files, P1 and W960 camdrivers extract just fine. It says invalid archive, seems like it's corrupted. Can anyone else confirm this?

My first problem after modding the camera:my video recording and playing isn't smooth.Every 3 seconds or more the camera freezes for a fraction of a second and then moves a bit la fast forward to catch up.Never happened before.Any of you have this?

I've been having that since I bought my P990, it used to be rampant, but subsequent fw updates later, it's significantly less now that autofocus is disabled and occurs only occasionally. Perhaps the P1's increased framerate has something to do with this, just as how they sacrificed P990's sharpness for smoother capture. Something's gotta give mate.

I don't have that problem on my P1i. It works like a charm, and the video quality is way better...
I wonder if we'll ever see camera mods for UIQ phones like we used to have for the K750i and co. in their time  |

There was a problem with the pvcamera.rsc file, but I included the one from my p1 so it works great. You have interesting stuff and improvements.

That's what I have. I am planning to do a review to all the mods I put on my phone til now and I'll write about this one,too.I'll put a little movie so you guys can understand better. Not a BIG issues but still,it's annoying.

Hi all, just installed this cam mod and the first thing i noticed was that the video doesn't seem any different...not sure about why that is so because the file size has sure increased. And secondly the video seems to lag behind the sound.
Does anyone else see this? Just video yourself talking and the sound is played first followed by the video.... |
