the P990 v.2 cam mod has 3 folders:
-Private
-Resource
-Sys
what and how do I copy and paste it on my P990 C drive?

hi man.
in the camera text file search for somthing called (pict0) and (vid0) then replace them both with the term (DSC0)
it should solve your problem.

you should first grant the system file access by a program called capswitch (you can download it anywhere... search in google)
the in the program on your phone... make the capability switch off. then you can access your system files.
for the mod..... i didn't heard of V.2... but you should copy the folder contetnts into the corresponding folders in the C:\ drive on your phone using a program called Xplore or Swissmgr (both are freeware and you can find them easily by a simple google search)....
for example you should copy the content of SYS folder to the C:\Sys and so on....

Long time P990 owners know that from R5A17 onwards, video quality sucked because we could no longer do the jogdial focus trick and the video would look blurred as though out of focus and broken. Now that we've managed to mod the driver, does anyone know which properties control the video focus, even if we can't do the video focus trick again, I would like it to at least look decently focused for playback

i did the mod on my G900 and now my burst only takes 1 picture? i deleted the mod and it's still taking only 1 shot

One more thing:do you guys have corrupted pics? I get at least 5% of all the pics I take with a mod. Now, I've changed the mod, hope it'll be better.

i have a cam mod that i got from persian forums and it works fine. the first mod i had was giving me some bugs, now've been fixed. you can have a look there.

I have been searching around for awhile now and have added various mods to my P1i. I just want to know is the camera mod worth it? Im not so bothered about the video side of it but want to know whether photos are improved?
Also are there any bad points to the mod? Things stop working etc?

I have just added the camera mod to my P1i and I can zoom to 3.0x is this correct?
