does anyone know how to use gprs in fring for free? in case there's no wi-fi available.. hehe..

Just curious.what is fring?is it a network provider in your country.here in the philippines we can access the internet for free using an Opera mini mod version.try using it in your phone then configure the network settings.

fring is also a messenger.. just like my friends. it allows you to call w/ other fring free.. hehe.. i like your post about my friends configuration.. but i don't know where to download it.. and i'm already using opera 2.06.. but i cant download anything.. the guide you gave for downloading doesnt work for me.. it says check gprs settings.. can you help me? hehe -100 percent pinoy!

oh you are a filipino as well! anyway, you just need to put wap.amob.com@ on the download link. no need to configure other settings. by the way, where can i download fring? i'll try using it. if there is a way to configure the network settings of fring, it's possible to use it for free.

there are some messenger applications that where modified by a filipino from a different mobile forum site to work free using globe like ebuddy. morange and cellity. i'll try to have a copy those applications and then i'll share it to you.

i already have ebuddy and cellity.. but i have a problem w/ ebuddy.. it takes a long time to log in.. i'm not sure if its realy logging in or i'm not using the ringht connection.. i read that you have to have inet settings.. i only have semc gprs setting for p990i, and theres no inet settings for mine does your's have? did it work?

i'm not using those applications. i'm only using opera mini. i have both myglobe connect and inet settings. i just downloaded it from www.sonyericsson.com/support
