Hello everyone,

My girlfriend's phone has recently started playing up. She has dropped it a few times and the phone has now completely stopped responding.

I tried to update it, but it said there wasn't one available.

The problems with the phone are:
When you turn it on, the screen only shows the background. Nothing else.
You can type the phone lock code in, but once you have, the phone crashes. EDIT: -- BEFORE YOU HIT OK!

I thought, perhaps, this was a firmware problem, but it seems it's not. Any suggestions?

Bevan.

Try a SEUS update or else flash using some online client.

Thanks for your reply.

I tried using SEUS to update. It didn't work. It said there wasn't an available update. I might try again. There may have been a fault with my computer.

When you update on SEUS, isn't that also a firmware update?

I'll post if I manage to fix this. If it isn't a firmware thing, I might have to open it up and replace some parts.

Bevan.

PS. Flash? -- Sorry. New to this.

It is 99 % firmware issue.
If you cannot use SEUS , use a online flashing tool.

Done! Flash! It's fixed. Everything works. Paid TotalGSM £8, 10 EURO, and it's done. Wasn't too hard either. Had lots of help, but it was easy to understand.

This is probably the cheapest place you'll find for this job. THANKS!
