Good afternoon folks,

Am on my 2nd C902 in 3 months (1st kept freezing). Ive started taking pictures in the eve and "flash" conditions, but I'm getting frustrated with the pic's being dark, in whatever low light conditions abound, 9/10 x the pictures are deleted as rubbish. Ive tried all manner of camera and flash settings - No difference, even turning the lights off in the room and taking a blind photo, the result is dark. TOTAL contrast to my previous K800i, which ive dusted down for comparrison, where every single picture in any lighting is "perfect". Its occured to me, that, prior to the shutter activating, the flash is firing, so im wondering if the flash / shutter are / can be out of sync?? Also find it really irritating the flash cant be set to fire everytime, like the K800i, as Auto, doesnt always work.

Bottom line, C902 in low light is'nt worth a jot to me, K800i NOOOO problem.

My question is, Is anyone else finding this problem? Or does this sound like a fault? Ive Emailed sony ericsson with a moan, and expect a reply around easter 2009 . Before i throw it back at the miserable staff at my local O2 shop (whose first words are without fail, when i take a phone in asking for it be sent for repair under warrenty are "We dont have any loan phones" - I never have asked for one!!!!) I'm curious to know if this is a "known" problem with the 902. As i subsequently found out i was not alone in the frozen C902 syndrome.

I have installed the latest updated software from S/E.

Regards, Dan.

Heya, I got a similar problem, for me it looks like the flash is to late..
The phone takes pic - flash goes off.
Might be the same problem?

No, it's simply an LED flash. It's not a 'real' camera flash, which is Xenon.

You can't compare the LED flash of C902 to the "xenon" flash of K800i. The flash of C902 is only LED which is up to 3 times weaker than the xenon flash of K800.
