Gmail IMAP certificate |

Hi,
I've been using gmail IMAP (idle or push) over SSL on my P1 since it was available (last December?) and am quite happy with it. The last days I'm getting an error every 10 mins stating gmail IMAP is using an unknown certificate and asks if I accept it.
The certificate is issued by Thawte Premium Server CA, which seems to be included in my security settings.
I can't seem to find any option to save the certificate and/or trust it in future. Does anyone have a solution for my problem?
Thanks! |

I've downloaded the Thawte root certificates from their website and added the premium server ca to my P1i. Still have the same problem.. Does anyone know where I can download the gmail certificate? |

I can recommend switching from the built in email service of your phone to the separate java application for gmail mobile. Go to http://gmail.com/app with your phone browser and install.
Works like a charm and looks tidy and nice. It will also open pdf attachments.

the webmail uses a similar certificate which doesn't get automatically accepted as well.. I don't understand what's wrong with the certs. This is quite annoying as it kills the push functionality. |

I understand how to add the certificate, but where do I download it? Google doesn't seem to offer it anywhere. |

I know the solution for this problem. I uploaded the certificates in RapidShare. Here's the link: http://rapidshare.de/files/40248724/Certificates.zip.html. Download the certificates and then transfer it to your phone via Bluetooth so that it will automatically go to the Certificates folder. |
