Not every modded drivers are better than the original. But yes, of course it is worthy. It's really simple to put a modded driver. So if a modded driver can make pictures better, why not? Besides it's very easy to put it in the system without any chance of breaking the phone (unlike flashing, patching etc).  Even some of modded drivers are really better than the original.
What I dislike is sometimes a modded driver makes the pics become over saturated, too warm, unreal, but luckily there are also plenty of them who doesn't have the issue. 
What I like is the easiness of changing the driver. It's not like flashing, patching or some kinda thing which can damage your phone. So it's really fun to try lots of modded driver and decide which one I like most and I consider the best.
Sometimes I found the better one, but sometimes I just put and use back the original driver though. As in K770's case. I think K770 original driver (Taiwan FW) is better than any K770 modded driver I've tried.

Modded drivers are better by far, the person who's quoted seems to own a phone which can't be modded yet, so he can't fully unleash the power of his camera. |

@ RAIDERSKI : where are you find this quote ? Modded camdrivers are better than original this is the reality. The only one original camdriver who give very good results is the sonyericsson k750's R1A004, but with SEUS this camdriver will be replaced by another with worse quality. After that, updating the fone with SEUS is not realy good thing to do !
Modded camdriver is best we can have for our SE phones, RAIDER you prove it with your modded k750/w800/w810 series and now, with K800/K810/K790...

of course modded driver is better than original if it is successful modded driver my k850 gives poor and no natural colors with one modded cmdriver I think photos will be better
modded driver is like a car where put on better brakes,tires,wheels etcetera

fight? do you see any fight here? this is normal topic for normal discussion, if you don't like it don't read it, don't write here and stop complaining. for your information: I started this thread not because this is something personal for me, as I wrote many times I don't care if somebody don't like modded things but because of 2 other reasons:
- voices of dissatisfaction appeared
- unavailable access to DB3150
both are correlating with themselves. as for now DB3150 is big 'STOP' sign on road for modding process and it's good time to sum up results of modding especially when voices of dissatisfaction appeared. if people will say that it isn't worthwhile this will be good indicator for future modders, something like 'don't waste your time for modding we don't need it'. I don't know the future of modding of DB3150 phones but for sure I won't take part in it, so I only want to leave after myself 3 things: 2MP driver, 3MP driver and simple message for future modders

It is worth... Anyway modded camera drivers are better than original. It's a fact. If they are done properly with no bugs they wipe the floor with the original one.
