Ramadhan Kareem greetings to all fellow members

In a few days time the Blessed month will be upon us once again.

The month when the Holy Quran was revealed and where all Muslims Fast between sunrise & sunset.

The Glorious Quran states in Chapter 2 Verses 183-185:

O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may learn self-restraint,

Fasting for a fixed number of days; but if any of you is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed number Should be made up from days later. For those who can do it With hardship, is a ransom, the feeding of one that is indigent. But he that will give more, of his own free will,- it is better for him. And it is better for you that ye fast, if ye only knew.

Ramadhan is the month in which was sent down the Quran, as a guide to mankind, also clear Signs for guidance and judgment Between right and wrong. So every one of you who is present at his home during that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period Should be made up by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; He does not want to put to difficulties. He wants you to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful.

Please remember me & the whole ummah in your prayers

Salaams / Peace to all

Salam to you all,

I did a Janaza prayer for 5 people yesterday and another 4 today at the ELM. The Imam made this point also that they all were preparing for Ramadhan but will not be participating because it is Allah's will.

He asked the question that if we were to die today, would we be able to stand in front of Allah knowing that they have a long list of good deeds or will we be begging for more time to repent? Nobody can say that they have not had the chance to do good deeds and not had time to repent.

absolutely true,

who can say how much time one has left,

every breathe is a gift, spend it in the dhikr of the Almighty Creator.

Life is too short, make the most of each second.
