N95 8GB pictures rotated problem? |

for some reason some pictures i take, when i go into the gallery they are rotated upside down and stuff?
Why an earth is this? Its pissing me off

It may be to do with the accelerometer. It will be rotating the images to be "the right way up" according to how you held the camera when you took the photos. Both my SE C902 and Sony DSC-T2 do this, so I'm guessing the N95 does the same. So if you held your phone on a funny angle to take the images, it might put them in your image gallery on a funny angle too.

I could be wrong (probably am), but I thought this was a known issue that got fixed with a firmware update. Is your phone fully up-to-date?

Not had this problem with mine. Upgraded to the 20.0.16 firmware which includes ASR. Its brilliant, rotates pretty quickly too.

yeh im V 20.0.016 and i have the auto rotate activated
whats ASR?
