Using smileys with G900 |

Hi there,
Anyone to help me with using smileys on G900 pls? E.g. when writing an SMS I just don't find how to insert a smiley into my message. I can use  for example but that does not change into the smiling face. The icon underneath does not work at all.
I used to have this feature on my k610i, e.g. when I wrote two dots .. it automatically changed to a smiling face.

when writing a text you will see a smiley face bottom left hand corner tap it, then choose your smiley |

if you want to tap/write your smilyes, put a "-" in it like this: for ": )" write it like this ": - )" (obviously without the spaces between them) . it works perfect on mine although i use the smilyes icon at the bottom.

Thanks guys, solved!  (I prefer using the keys rather than the tapping function when writing an sms and I liked that 'shortcut' on the old phone, so... + I should've thought about the '-' in the middle...) |

Is there any way of getting to the smileys without tapppping the screen.i have done it once unintentionally and i dont know how to do it. can someone please tell me how you do it but the keypad. thank you very much |

If you press the 1 key three times you'll get to see 4 smileys.
