C902, C702 or K850i what one to buy |

Right now i have a LG Chocolate (yeah in most posts i say i have a D900i its my cousins and its really her qustion and she dont have a Esato account. Any Way im upgrading and i cant decide C902, C703, K850i or W890i! cant think what one is the best. Current owners of one of these phones plz reply and tell me if your satisfied and you think i should get it.  really can't wait till i upgread first i need to know what one to get then wait a 1 week or more period till me phone comes to my door. Plz tell me only current owners because i dont want to end up getting a phone that is wasting monthley money! Thank you and if needed to PM, PM away! :S im really confused on what one to get... I geuess im confused.com!

I think we all here know how the models look like, the pic was not necessary.
- K850, old, have some problems.
- W890, the lack of auto focus.
- C702, not as good build quality as the C902.
The C902 for sure, if you want to spend less money, then go for the C702.

I'm a happy c702  well happy now i updated the firmware and it works as it should, the c702 has the best cam quality out of them phones 3.2mp is better than 5mp, more than 3.2 megapixels on the crappy small cmos sensors actully degrades the pic quality
Check the photo section for pic samples the c902 & k850 do have more cam options though and the k850 has a xenon flash so the choice is cam features (c902 & k850 ) or cam quailty (c702) the w890 is ok for quick snaps it has no autofocus , music the w890 has the best fully featured music player, but the c902, k850 & c702s music players are still quite good the sound quaity from my c702 is very good cant fault it can easily replace any mp3 player i belive the quality of sound doesnt differ much between these phones also the media players are exactly the same apart from the w890, there screens are all 2.2 inchs expect the c902 which still has the old 2 inch, the c702s screen is nice big and very clear.
The c702 has built in gps while the others have accerometers. I choose the c702 over all them phones, it has the best cam quality, good build quality, really nice 2.2 screen, gps, decent music player. |

I have had all bar the C702 and that does not appeal to me...
Out of the ones I have had and have I prefer the C902...
Looks good, battery is good, decent camera for fun pics.... not for pro...
If you have any questions just ask...

definitely dont get the K850. Too many problems and outdated now.
Both C902 and C702 are great options, although personally i would go for the C902. Great build quality, nice design, and camera problems from K850 have been fixed and improved.
W890 is nice but you get the walkman player with all the above options anyway and you would end up with a worse camera. |

I agree with Soane28 about the K850i. Its discontinued now so thats another reason to avoid it. And I agree with him on the W890i too. It doesn't really have anything the others can't offer apart from the Walkman sticker, which doesn't mean a hell of a lot anymore.
I would weigh up between the C702 and C902. I have done this myself and have chosen the C702 because it has a bigger screen (2.2" rather than the C902's 2" screen), it has GPS, its cheaper, and it seems to have pretty good image quality from its still great 3.2MP camera.
The C902 has an accelerometer (which isn't so much of a necessity), it has a 5MP camera with pretty good image quality. But what puts me off is the price and the sliding camera cover. I've seen many pictures of the C902 with scratches from the sliding cover, and I've seen one picture where the whole slide had been bent and was falling off. Dunno if its a serious problem, but its enough to put me off.

Actually, more MP doesn't mean better pictures. Picture quality depends on various other factors such as the lens, sensor, post-processing, etc. The reason K850 sucks is because it has the similar sensor as K800/K810 but the output is enlarged, resulting in noise and reduction in sharpness.
I've chosen the C702 because it's well worth the price. And the ruggedness suits me well since I'm a sports freak. |

k850 = big, slow, hard to clean, buggy, did i said SLOW?
w890 = no af, pics not very good, kinda slow, ugly. Dpad from k550 and softkeys from w810.
I had no experience with the c702.
But the c902 seems to be pretty nice, used it for couple of hours and really like it, faster than the old models with new platform. Very heavy and well built, made of stainless steel. Screen could have been bigger. |

Thanks people for answering, right now im still thinking of C702 and C902 are in a tie. Screen qulity and size douse not really matter to me as long as its 2"'s or higher then im fine. C702 is winning with GPS or GPRS or what ever its called and its water etc. proof and i do drop my phone ALOT. K850i and W890i are out of the post now there rubbish. Im really not kean with C902. C702 is much higher qulity so keep those replys coming C902 or C702
talk 2 u later people i really can't decide what one to get!
P.S. I add pictures caz i love doing that |

Ummm it sounds like the C702 is the phone for you then. You just answered your own question. You can't go buying a phone solely on other people's opinions - You must form your own opinion, which you just did.

I suggest testing a K850 in store and just see if you like it. Not every K850 is bad.

I would go for the C902, brillant phone. I was actually planning to get the k850 a while ago however the camera not having an actual cover (a cover over lens, not one inside the phone which I found pointless) really put me off since I usually have change and other stuff with my phone in my pocket which could so easily scrath the lens and then thats a waste of a 5mp camera.
Also the C902 is great for quick snapshots. |

K850i is good idea,
I have used it for three months,
You can buy a bluetooth earphone for it. I used wep200. |
