I was looking at this phone like replacement (in 2009) for my brother's W200i, at a first glance the specs seem good 2 Mpx, Bluetooth with A2DP, Walkman 2.0, TFT 2.0 screen and it's also really nice but.....
After seeing some deeper documents about, it seems that the new low/mid-end "A050" platform is really crap: no flash lite, no megabass, no photo/music/video dj, NO SYNCHRONIZATION, no RSS, no activity menu, no shutdown menu and no sound recorder.
It's really a shame to make such a poor platform because all these features were already present in the W200i and older phones.
So, what's the sense of doing this?? There's already the T250ish platform that has to be essential.

Ive bought this lovely w302.
I have one problem thought- to get Gmail on it.
Tryed the app but it tells me that its not trusted. I hvae downloaded a certifikate for it but cant get it from root certs to java-certs.
Can anyone help me?
Also tried settings for the onboard email client, no success. Im ón Imap not pop3.
Ideas? |
