Davinci is listing a new firmware for the G900.

Did anyone try it out? If so are there any noticeable changes?

EDIT: Customized Germany (1207-5386) is also available

Yes it is available on SEUS. I just did an update today.
Obviously it's just for Generic World 1 devices at the moment.

Can't really say.
I just got the phone today and updated it directly.

But the performance in the menu has been increased. That's what I've recognized in the shortness of time I used the old firmware.

SEUS still tells me that my device is up to date. My G900 is unbranded so that shouldn't be the problem.

Thanks ares for clearing this as you can see I don't know much about firmwares.
Just noticed that my CDA is customized Germany so I think I have to wait a little bit.

I've just updated my firmware in my phone.

Previously (with old firmware) when setting a photo as background in the phone, I think it got very pixelated and vertically stretched out. Now after the update everything looks just fine when performing the same action!

Also, the menu performance must for sure have been increased a bit.
In combination with what seems like an increased responsiveness when typing the first letter(s) of a contact in the contact list, this phone feels so much better!

When sending a new sms/mms the list of previously used contacts now contains 5 contacts instead of only 3.

Is the firmware available for Hong Kong region?

Can it solve the bluetooth handsfree problem?

What bluetooth problem are you referring to? I haven't had any problems with my bluetooth (HBH-DS980) except for the annoying fact that when browsing the contacts in the headset, they doesn't follow the sort order set in the phone. They are always set to "last name, first name".
From what I can see this hasn't been fixed in this update though.

On a side note... I've tried to pair the headset with a K800 as well. No problems at all with the sort order - they were sorted by first name, just like I want.
