My girlfriends K850i has what I think is the Blue Ring of Death bug...her problem is the camera illuminates, the keypad illuminates but theres no life from the screen or phone, and the only way to get it off then is to take out the battery.

I've tried talking her through SEUS, but apparently the computer can't detect the phone.

I assume a Da Vinci flash will fix it, but I wondered if you lot knew a way to do it that didn't involve 10 euros?

x

Update through SEUS won't help you fix the phone from BROD... You need to flash it with some of the online flashing clients like KulanKendi or TotalGSM. They are not for free though...

If you still have warranty on your phone, get it repaired (will take at least a week).

If you dont want to wait that long, you'll have to pay and do the flashing yourself..

Yeah I forgot warranty repairs . Warranty should cover this kind of problem as it appeared on it's own, it was not your fault, so you can also try taking your phone to service center... Though it will stay there for some time, but that way you can get it fixed for free
