Ok .. i had Opera mini 4.1 installed on R1F ... and was using it.. suddenly i quit the app from the shortcut menu .. without properly quitig it from within...

next time i loaded opera mini .. it started installing but huing in the middle .. ithen deleted it...

i tried to install freshly ... from thier website itself with ,ultiple certificate.. but it downloaded but when it started to install ...the usual installing progress bar showed.. but it was kept on going... phone didnt hang... i had to stop it by quiting it from phone broswer...

i thought some thing might have wenty wrong .. so did a full master reset..--- Nithing happened.. same result..

reinstalled the whole firmware---- same result...

did a master reset again --- same result...

i think it must do something with certificate...
pleas esomeone help...

planning to give to flash it...

anyother advice.. would be great...

Did you try these two?

- it is also advisable to clear the cookies, history and cache of phone's built-in browser to make sure there's no harmful data in shared RMS file

- reset the phone's memory by removing the battery for 5 minutes

I get stuck with the signed version of opera mini too. I gave up and just installed the unsigned version of opera mini 4.1 and just have to deal with the prompts about allowing internet access. Something with opera mini 4.1 and this new firmware is wrong. I am hoping the next firmware update from s.e. will fix this.

Well maybe available phone memory is low, you should have at least 2mb free phone memory.
