hi there! i'm fairy new and i hope you guys could help me about setting my internet in my phone
i bought this p990i last dec. and tried to connect to the internet but i was having problems this is what i did soo far are trying to configure it:
- updated the p990i by downloading updates at the sonny ericcson website
- also checked if the wifi is working.. which does cuz it can detect my landlords signal and also can connect to it
- i live in canada and under my cellphone contract i have free internet surfing for 1 month which really matter since the phone has wifi
anyhow any info would be great..i have bought this phone for 300 dollars and if some of the features are not useable then i might just have to sell it

can you not ring your operator or go on there web page for there settings, |

Contacting your operator is the best option in situation like yours... Anyway in my country internet is set up only by creating profile (PS data), doesn't use proxy and etc... no ip adresses to configure at all...
The only thing you need is username/pass/apn...
But some countries are different... You should check what does your operator say...
