Interesting article that may be off topic, but it touches on C905's situation. SE could not make all in one phones or market their products that way because good ol' papa SONY won't let them. Could be the cause why C905 becomes the way it is now...

I know that production code of SE phones normally written as yyWxx, e.g., 08W43, 08W48, etc., but what if that code written as w0839b?

My friend just received his new black C905 and the code w0839b is written on the back side.

Thanks in advance to anyone who would enlighten this for me.

I bet that they are going to go with an all out cybershot + walkman Phone, "Entertainment Unlimited" which keeps QVGA recording and then come out with another phone which has "HD" recording LOL and not as good camera and multimedia

I have had SE Phones now for over 5 years and have had my C905 from launch (although I am on my forth phone).

Until recently and on all previous phones, when connected to the Charger, the 'OPTIMISED CHARGING' caption was displayed when the charger was plugged in. Now though, I am only getting the message 'CHARGING'. I have noticed a deterioration also with Battery performance.

Anyone know if the settings are selectable for the type of Charging or why it is not Optimised anymore?

I know this has been mentioned on here before and there is some links but no significant answers are explained. Can someone help?

I asked my Girlfriend, who also has the same phone, who also thinks hers used to say Optimised but now doesn't. She, for information, has had her phone since ealry January but hasn't had to have it replaced.
