chromatic aberrations ????... dont bother..took it away
do you know the different to have the light behind you, in front of you, or besides you ?????... this picture is taken with the light coming from the right... not even a real digi cam manage perfect quality with that kind of non optimal lightness...
it has nothing to do with some aberrations. (and it has hell no mather about the camera either, in this case). everything mather about one bloody thing in this picture... and thats the angle of the sun toward the camera. (second, IF a camera suffer of chromatic aberrations you see it on nearlly EVERY PICS... chromatic aberrations its about the lens behaves false against the light....nothing else)
here is a picture taken with the light right behind me...see some different between this 2 pictures ????

milan... dont start some silly debate about some chromatic aberrations... like a said before, IF a camera suffer of chromatic aberrations you see it on nearlly EVERY PICS... chromatic aberrations its about the lens behaves false against the light....nothing else. (for example, really cheap lenses)
by the way... that first pic is ok, thats a whole different to horrible.

hhmmmm. look here. (i dont know how i should explain so you get it).... c902 lens is not bad... it have probably the best lens of all phones.
it would be impossible to shoot this sharpness with some half mediocre lens. (and the lens does not suffer of some c.aberration what i can see)

Plank, you forget one thing: in front of each colour component of each pixel of a sensor, there is a microlens that serves at collecting more light. However, these microlenses are properly focused for only one colour (usually green), so that chromatic aberrations also appear at the surface of the sensor itself. This effect is stronger when the pixels are smaller. So, the smaller the sensor for a given number of pixels, the stronger the fringing appearing from chromatic aberration. No difference if it is a CCD or a CMOS.
These effects have to be corrected during post-processing of the image data retrieved from the sensor, and will be more or less seen depending on the quality of the post-processor.

horrible...yeh sure,,, so sudennley it have HORRIBLE post-proccesing ????? it have slightly better post-proccesing then k750 & definitely better then k800/k810.
look at the pictures instead of judging,(or more likely "guessing")

The lenses on the c series seem to be of quite good quality there just small compared to digicams but for a phone the lens are fine, the problem with the c902 is the tiny cmos which has 5megapixels the poor sensor cant coupe and so aggressive post-processing is needed.

guys..... i really give a shit about bla bla bla bla..all this
Fact.... C902 take best pictures by all phones... (then if the lens is small who cares, ITS A TINY 10.5mm CELL PHONE)...AS LONG the pictures ends up stunning with good colors, and awesome sharpness im happy.

Milan... of course you can change your mind about stuff. (besides, i never said K850 was good in plain auto, or had best color reproduction)... so, now i said it again.
------------------------------------------------
what i first "saw" (reliazed) with C902, was the very good color-reproduction.Sonyericsson have done a really great job with the color-reproduction.
i saw it first when i look at some nature pictures, for example the green-color-spectrum. (all the nuances of the green color). its very good for such a tiny sensor to produce this color-spectrum.
made a little dorky Paint sketch ... but you clearly see what im talking about:

Look at the girl with the red cap on her head. On one pic it is pink and on one it is red. I suppose that it is the same cap. How can that be?

(and as you see on the last picture, my daughter is sitting more in the shadow against the first picture).
