Move on, use e-mail, it's like mms but better!
Why so desperate to defend Iphone at whatever silly means? Email is not better than MMS. There are completely different in application.
I think what was implied was that, more and more people are getting email on the mobiles now, and that is getting a more popular way to send pictures to your friends rather than sending out poor quality ones on mms.
Exactly what I meant.

although I'm not into it yet, blogging, flickr etc is also a common way of getting friends to view pics, and many people can see the pics for a relatively small data charge compared with sending the same pic to many people via MMS
MMS is surely dying. I don't know a single person who uses it

£59 for the 16gb on my existing contract. awesomely good value for money, definitely upgrading to one.

Out of topic: I have used MMS sometimes. Just to send a picture or small videoclip to antother phone.
In of topic: Why the ipod is so special? For me it's just too big and heavy glossy phone. I even would not want it if I get paid for that
I like classic design, small size and weight (like T68i or K610i).
I HATE this glossy fashion! It's so unfriendly! It's beautifully glossy only once: when you pick it up from box. |

The white one is limited edition (or so I read somewhere on the Apple site) and only available in 16 GB, I like being in a minority so I'll be getting a white one, and it won't show the fingerprints as bad as the black one.
By the way what tariff are you on to get the 16GB one for £59 on upgrade? |

I was planning to get a G900 (wifi, screen, and it is a SE) but would I really have to pay €340 for the G900 while the new iPhone will be only €199? And has to be sim-free in my country.
Help! I do not want to leave SE, but this is really an offer you can't refuse. |

@masseur
TomTom already has iPhone navigation software ready to roll
from Engadget Mobile
Reading that has reminded me of the nuvifone, so don't expect the Garmin software on the iPhone anytime soon.

If that's the cost to new customers then I'm quite certain it will be the same when you upgrade. As if you are a new customer you get the 8GB for free on the £45 and £75 a month tariffs, and if you are an existing customer on those tariffs you also get it free. So I would think it would be the same rule throughout. |

I'm hoping the 16GB will be available on upgrade i'd happily pay extra as i'm only on the £35 tariff, 8GB just isn't enough.

Well the G900 does have many more features. Only con is the smaller screen. Sure, and maybe all those fancy transitions the iPhone has (which doesn't mean the the G900 doesn't have a lot of anmations). |
