Ryan, what´s your twitter name???? I also became addicted, because of the iphone and tweetie...before i used it very few times, with the Opera Twitter widget on my P1

Btw, this task manager is AMAZING...much better than Freememory to reclaim RAM!!

Installed the task manager, whilst it looks like a better effort being able to kill individual tasks, like with anything else when you 'free the memory' the processes just come back. Like you can never completely kill mobilemail for instance. Thats just the way the iPhone works and cant be changed.

Really need to do a restore, being really laggy at the mo, so much junk on it and it needs cleaning up. Such a headache though!

you can kill mail completely if you use manual sync

I love memtool because it's the only able to recover all lost ram without reboot. I use the normal clean function, don't go into processes

btw, I am using ucweb to post this...uses much less data and it's faster than safari on 3g or edge

Oh ok, ill have to have a proper look at it again. Will need to reinstall it now though as i'm just in the process of restoring

I thought UCWEB was a bit jittery when scrolling which is a bit of a turn off, but yeah the pages seem to load faster. And if it doesn't crash then that makes it 100x better!

ryan, what we need is to find someone that understands chinese to figure some stuff about ucweb. i mean, i know how to input adresses, use search tools, use tabs, however i would like to know how to create and access bookmarks and turn off images. knowing how mess with the settings menu also would be cool

ares you're right, if we had someone that understood chinese then it'd make ucweb a lot more stomachable. I could probably handle the lack of eye candy on the browser windows, if only i knew which option was which!

As you say though, doing the basics is relatively easy to suss out, and there is no other browser to rival this. It's pretty much almost an Opera mini for the iPhone. Tab/window switching is a dream - and most important..no reloading pages when you hit back! Is there any word of it being translated to English?

guys, one thing that always annoys me is how safari always automatically refreshes my web page when I open safari after some time.

Often I want to keep the contents of a page to read again later but when I go back, it gets refreshed and changes

now that I'm jailbroken again, is there a way to stop this behaviour and only refresh when *I* want to?
