I know this has probably been answered elsewhere, but I'd like a more specific answer to my query.

I have a T68m upgraded to R2E006 software, and I just received an HBH-30 as a Christmas present.
Does anyone know what the latest firmware for the HBH-30 is? And should I get my T68 upgraded to the latest firmware, or will it not make a difference?

Thanks

See, I'm having some trouble with it.

My headset has an extremely low range. I can go about 5m away from my T68mi as long as it's in line of site, further away and the connection drops off. If there's something in the way, the range goes down to less than a meter.

An example, I have to keep the phone in my right pocket when using the headset in my right ear, and then the connection will drop off if I put my arm in the way. It does not work at all if I put the phone in my left pocket.

Now, is this a hardware fault in my headset, or will upgrading the firmware in my phone and headset fix this?

Has anyone else experienced this problem? What's the latest HBH-30 firmware?

Thanks

latest software for hbh30 is R2D.....new upgrade will be available once hbh60 hits the market....to solve your current problem of range/distance...suggest u try pairing the headset to the phone again....cheers!

I have just tried resetting the headset and pairing it again, but alas, it still does not work

The range is absolutely awful, as I said, it is not really useable when I have it in my pocket, and I'm assuming other people must have much longer ranges than this.

I don't think it's the phone, as it works fine when I sync via bluetooth with my computer.

The phone reports the headset's firmware as R2F, now, I assume this is newer than R2D, so could my problem be with the phone's firmware being *only* R2E006 or do I have a dud headset?

suggest u refer option 2, i.e., send phone and headset back to service centre/dealer and get the problem looked into and sorted out....good luck mate
