Error when trying to flash K750i with XS+ 1.2 |

Hello, everybody! I got SE K750i yesterday but it didn't have Bulgarian menu and language. I read trough the forum how to flash it, downloaded all the needed files and programs, but when I tryed to flash the phone it gave me an error on binary file or something like that. I can't show you what the exact error was beacause I closed XS++. I don't know if my firmware or main files are wrong or is it anything else. I read in the forum that not matching firmware and main files can damage the phone. Well my files match -
file1x.K750_R1CA021_EMEA_4_FS_BG_LANG
and
K750_R1CA021_MAIN.bin.
I got the finalizing files:
K750i_CDA102337_4_EMEA_4\tpa\preset\custom
checked with the phones CDA number it matches.
I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or my firmware and main files are broken or something.
IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME OR GIVE SOME ADVISE I WILL BE VERY TANKFULL!

Look at your phone MAIN version???
From WHERE you know they match... What if the MAIN is not EMEA/EU and is american one or else...
Go to www.topsony.com or get yourself proper main from www.4shared.com and etc...
Or post a firmware request will upload a firmware for you...

Well I don't really know if main and firmware match. I downloaded them from a forum about flashing and there put together for download and have the same r1c... names.
In the tutorial on the forum they say first to flash it with only FS file (file system = firmware file right?). Then upload the finalization files (custom files). After it is ready to do the same with main files.
I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION:
All I want to do with my phone is make it be able to type and read cyrillic. I read that I need a language files and I can download them from sek750i.pl. I understand that I need EMEA4 for cyrillic.
The question is do I need to flash my phone or I can upload to it the language "pack" EMEA4 some oher way?
I don't really want to take the risk to brake my phone by flashing it uproperly. What do you say about the order they flash k750i in the forum I mentioned?

Something strange happened I have a USB mouse that just stopped working. It says that it is not recognized. Could that be from the flash drivers I installed? How can I remove them after I'm finished with my K750?

I have USB mouse too and NOT a single problem with the flash drivers.. As far as I'm using them, they never affected on other hardware... I have used them under XP and Vista and no problem...
Anyway you mentioned in this topic name that you are using XS++ 1.2... Did you tried to download and try the latest version that works good with K750s... (I think it is 3.1 at the moment as 3.2 was killing phones)...
P.S. XS++3.1. I have tested with several phones (flashing MAIN and FS + customize using own_custpack): W800, K750, W580, K800, K810, Z310a and etc...
And it works well for conversion like K750 to W800 and K800 to K810...
Anyway the problem might be in your firmware files you downloaded... Try searching another ones on www.4shared.com www.iprotebe.cz

I will try newer version of XS++
But I had another thought that might make flashing the phone unnecessary -
DO I NEED TO FLASH THE PHONE TO MAKE IT USE CYRILLIC OR THERE IS SOME
OTHER WAY OF INSTALLING LANGUAGE FILES?
If there is another way I realy don't need to flash the phone!

There is another way to add new languages to phone by adding the lng files and editing the customize.xml file and the allowed_languages.txt file... But the best and the 100% working way is full flash

Where can I find those files?
I think I might try adding lang file first and if this doesn't work then I will try
with flashing my K750i.
When I connect my phone to the PC the only thing that it recongnizes is the
memory stick. Do I need some other drivers? Or may I browse the system
dirs with the software from the CD that comes with the phone? |

and to get into the phone's filesystem you need to do this:

though you may find newer ways to break into CID49 K750 as I haven't tried anything new yet, I don't have a CID49 phone at home
But I can confirm that the way above with editing the allowed_languages.txt, customize.xml files and adding the new lng's will work for sure.. I have done it with CID36 W800 (it's same as K750)...
P.S. For new languages on my K800 i flashed the software...
