yeah, they retailed for about £70-80 back in 1997/99 and I didn't buy one, as they were seriously "uncool" but the form has always stuck in my head and now 8 years later I want one! the downside is, as they were "uncool" hardly any were sold.....

rocking horse s*it springs to mind..

But Animal being a very local company I will do my damnedest to get my mitts on one!! (although they've changed owners since the days of actually just doing purely watches and straps)

When i was googling i came across a forum to do with cycling or bikes and there was a post made by somebody who was looking to sell one they had, the post was dated in March this year. I guess you could register and email the guy see if he still has it, will dig it out.

Hello,

Back in the days when I was at Poole Grammar School, I used to peruse MBUK and in about '97ish time you released a watch called "Bug", I decided not to get one but instead get one of your Pro Series jobbies (W004) and it has served my superbly, anyway, Bug... I want one, any ideas on earth of where I might be able to track one down? Being a local lad, and you being a local company I thought you might have some ideas? being a biker, I've asked Clive at Bikelab to which I received a blank response, Do you carry old stock that I could possibly inherit for a pricely sum? or simply do you have the model number to make my searching a little easier? there's only so many pages I can look through on google after entering "animal bug digital watch" or phases based on that, oh and while I'm here, I wish you would decorate HQ depending on the seasons, I can see "Animal house" from my house and it needs sprucing up! (well, I think it does!)

Thanks in advance

e-Mail. Done.

i noticed that you were talking' about the Animal W004 pro-series watch. I own one myself, but it doesn't work like it should. (i dropped it onto the floor from 1 meter, so its not very strong...) believe the internal time module is broken, sometimes the watch just stops. (it's not the battery)

Does anybody know if i can still get it fixed somewhere? it's pretty old.

You can send it to Animal in Poole, Dorset and they will fix it for you, prices and details on animal.co.uk or you could sell it to me, that's an older W004 than I have and not a pro series one but still cool nevertheless...

Won one on eBay last night, will post pics when I get it

Googling around I found this

Why the hell would someone copy and paste selective bits of my posts!?
