Hi all,

I previously owned a string of SE phones, T68, T610, K700 etc, but then jumped ship to Symbian-based Nokia (N73). I'm now in the market for a new phone, and have narrowed the choice down to the Nokia E51 or SE W890.

I currently use the Java GMail app on my N73 a lot, and have it permanently running, just switching to it from time to time to check my email. My question is this: with the W890, is it possible to run the GMail application like this? Can it be permanently running in the background, or would I have to restart the app afresh each time I wanted to check my email?

I realise that I could check my email via the email client built in to either phone, but the Java app really is nice.

Thanks very much.
