My w580i has really low signal bars( |

I dont know whats wrong. I've updated it to the latest SE firmware and i use sony m600i, i get full 5 bars while my w580i only gets barely 1bar at times. What can be wrong with it? and what can i do to fix it? thanks |

Did you update it using SEUS?

no using xs++
it was at&t U.S. branded before.
this problem started happening evening before flashing it.

Try to flash with newer firmware if that also does not sort it out , it might be a hardware fault.

well i do think its a hardware fault... flashing to the newest se firmware didnt help one bit.
can the antennas be replaced easily on these things? is there is a disassembly instructions somewhere i can check out? thanks |

Not advisable to do it on your own.
Please take it to your nearest service center to get it sorted.

problem fixed.
opened up the back top cover, and firmed up the antenna connector. i thought that was the problem maybe after looking at the sony disassembly guide, and sure enough it was.
