Its that time of the year again!
The Esato Awards concept has been well accepted by the members of this forum.
This concept was the brainchild of one of Esato's most prominent members scotsboyuk which he started of as the Fijies back in 2004.
In 2005, I took over (with scotsboyuks' permission) to host the awards which resulted in the first Esato Awards thread.
It had a mix of a bit of controversies and arguments but ended on a good note.
The next year, in 2006, I thought of once again hosting the annual event and it was a success as well with many members casting their franchise to vote for their favourite members in various categories.
Here it is!
The number of categories were increased and the number of people who voted too increased. However, considering the number of people who use this forum the number was too less in my opinion.
In 2007, the categories were inceased and the number of people who voted increased as well. Esato Awards 2007
This thread is to gauge the popular voice for the awards this year.
The categories last year were:

* Best Photo Contributor
Anymore suggestions before we get the actual awards thread going would be accepted and lets rock the awards this year too!!

@tranced, the reason why i clubbed the Americas together is because of the fairly low number of participants from the area. Of course, we can add the category if we have the "demand".

@whizkidd: im not saying that it should be added more categories. i just wanna let you know that AMERICA includes these regions.

How do you even know who's from America? Most of us here dont even have their real locations written.

The point is not the location. It does not matter where you live. The votes received for the entire Americas last year were very less to warrant a further bifurcation of the category. There is no rule that an Asian member can only vote for the best Asian member and not for an European bloke. Remember the demand - supply analogy?
