boobb Joined: May 08, 2008 Posts: 2 PM |
I was thinking about buy k850 but i've realized that:
- n82 sound's better than k850
- n82 takes better photos than k850
- n82's video quality is better than k850
- I hate k850's fingerprints
but n82's design is not as beautiful as k850 is
i dunno what's better, what do you think?
both have 5MP camera
is there something that I must know before buy one of this phones?
bye!! |

depends on your needs and taste... if u recognized, that n82 will fit more your imagination, then go for it. i dont look on the design, more on the inner and a symbian os nokia is far better then the an se java fone imo

Haha Boba, Nice try -
Dude - Symbian v Java - its a baby battle, where do your allegiances lie lol, thats the question - plus the K850i has great Battery Life!
Although the N82 has better optics (Guilty as charged, I use only Original Minolta and Zeiss Lenses on my Sony α)...
But as Boba said, its your personal taste!

well, a symbian os offers for u far more option then a java fone, as i see. next to it the nokia support ( incl third party ) is amazing. k850 offers a good cam, but thats all imo.

hi everybody! well, i'm still a teenager so i don't care if it has symbian, windows 95 or whatever.
What i look for in a mobile phone is just entertainment, specially music and the fact that it has a good design
(hey! everybody loves showing off!)

well, there are then other options as n82 or k850 imo... to buy a fone only cos of the cam and music, is a bit waste imo, especially an n82...
or mayb eits just me, i see things with another eye like a teenager

Then, K850i wins HandsDown!
It has the PSP/PS3 'XMB' - and is a powerful allrounder, you wont be disappointed - K850i it is.

Hi boobb
I would suggest reading the K850 Firmware thread and in fact all the threads and see what those who own one are saying. Then you can see what you are letting yourself in for and if any of those things are a problem for you or not. Then try and read what people are saying about the N82 and see which one suits you better but buying a device purely on looks doesn't really make a lot of sense IMO. Seeing if it does what you want and performs as you want or need it to makes more sense IMO. But really only you can decide what will serve you best and you will be happy with owning and using.
Marc

Well actually pure looks does make sense, that's why there is such a range called design phones, essentially pretty devices with no brains. Apparently there's a market for these or else such a range would not exist. IMO aesthetics (physical and UI) is the only edge SE has over Nokia atm but even that is subjective. Personally, Nokias look unaesthetical to my eyes (especially E90, sorry Marc) with the exception of 6300 which is perfection on Nokia's part. I personally place design as an important criteria mainly because of my design background and I'm sure many other designers share my sentiment. I just feel that form and function should always go hand in hand and no manufacturer currently satisfy this requirement of mine
