It says later this year, so I would guess it is the new 3G model.

Assuming there is a new 3G model

I'd like to think it'll be 3.5G actually otherwise it'll be pretty pointless.

lol, you and every other person I've had come into my shop lol

They all see something that some journalist has written in some magazine or newspaper based on a weak, 6 month old rumour they've heard and everyone goes bezerk.

You'll hear it here before you hear it in the general 'press' papers.
My opinions on this forum are that of my own and not of the company I work for.

Here in NZ price rumours are floating around saying NZD$700 for an 8GB 3G model. That's way cheaper than the NZD$1000 - $1200 of unlocked imported versions selling here. I'd be very interested at that price, but for my wife, not for me - I'm hanging out for the W980.

I think I can vouch for Vodafone when they say it wont be available in the UK on there network though,

if you look at the Forum theres alot of questions regarding this,
and there quick to say it's not going to be available to them,

as many months ago 02 have the iPhone for Quote 5 years !
why do you think they have reduced the one thats on show now?

the 3G version!

so 02 has it rant over!

Personally I doubt i'd even buy it if it did come on Vodafone 5 years said is ample time for Apple to get better though

Best Buy is launching stand alone mobile shops with carphonewarehouse uk in the US.

Let's hope this will open a door to better handsets here in the US. So we get some more options instead of the Moto, Samsung and Nokia slush.
