Hey if you've got the money, W910 mate.
It's a better phone in the long run, let the design grow on you.

imo if u want a good cam and good sound, good design and durable built quality, then still w810 is the "best" solution.

W910i has a stunning screen and great features. It does not have best sound so i hear but its got everything else. The camera pictures look great on the phones screen though not the best on a pc but still good. But sound is average. |

Or better wait for W980. in W910 you have to get used for it's classical looks and slider is a bit wobbly imo speakers are not stunning as well. regarding W580 it's a cute nice phone but it lacks some cool music oriented features on W910 and also the lack of HSDPA. W980 satisfies both worlds, you can have a great design and a very good music experience in one. not to mention it's great storage and slightly more advanced music capabilities. |

Obviously you're looking for a mid to high end option, so here are your options:
W910i: Really nice screen and size and slide... But you don't like the design. I say give it time because it really grew on me.
W760: Slider which I think looks worse than the W910i, but you may like it. Has a marginally better camera but you won't notice, has GPS. Loses the bigger screen. Camera on the slide so you have to open it to use it.
W890i: A basic candybar, but it looks really nice. Loses some of the features of the W910i like the accelerometer and screen, but gains the same unnoticeably better camera as the W760. Nice metal case.
W980: A really really nice looking clamshell with excellent features like 8GB built in memory and a 3.2MP camera, etc. The only trouble is that its not out for a while and I expect it will be highly expensive, being the flagship Walkman at the moment.
W960i: A step away from what you might be used to in a Walkman phone because it is a UIQ phone - so it's a different operating system aimed more at business users. It has a touch screen and pretty decent camera, but I wouldn't suggest it unless you want a smartphone and are prepared for the change. Good phone though.
