I downloaded it. apparantly it was extracted from a diamond that came with TT7 (some carriers are including it) but those diamonds that do come with TT7 don't have any maps, you just get to select one city to trial it with (as you did with TT6).
I already had my TT6 installed with EU maps and when I installed the TT7 program it simply replaced the TT6 program and continues to work with the maps from TT6 6.75, no further activation required

The application has been posted on the XDA Developers forum in the Kaiser Software section, and probably a few other places.
The maps are where TomTom make their money, and must be purchased from TomTom.

Anyone knows if the phone has a gprs data counter? I am asking because my diamond establishes gprs connections randomly and i have no clue about the amount of data transfered. |

Does anyone know any cool and useful applications for the Diamond?
I found a keylock application that works great. It's a copy of the iPhone's...

Question for everyone who has been using there touch diamond. How long does the battery actually last?
I'm not a heavy user, would keep bluetooth on all the time, would it last 24hrs easily? |

24h easily on the GSM network...3G will drain the battery faster

Someone's working on a totally new Touch UI for wm6, especially for the diamond and Touch Pro: G-sensitive scrolling, new use of the touch hardware buttons, etc..

So to the people who own and have used the Diamond Touch, what is the verdict? I have read conflicting reviews on it. The points of contention generally are:
- battery life. Some have described this as abysmal at best, and some even worse than that.
-sluggish interface - apparently while the 3D Touchflo is great eye candy, there are reports of serious lag and delay.
-Self resets - some have said it resets itself from time to time, 5 times in 3 days was reported by one user. This conjured memories of the P990 in it's early days?
I am seriously considering getting the HTC Diamond as I have lost faith in SE's ability to deliver the X1 as advertised, given their history with high-end devices of late (P990 anyone?!)
Your constructive advice/response will be greatly appreciated.

I highly recommend this phone!!
The 3d TF was slow when I first got it, these days I use my Ram more effectively so theres no problems!
Battery well with 3G on its a problem I think they ironing that out with the next update.
Never had a reset in almost month.
