Its better to have a lens that sticks out lets in more light and has less barrel distortion. Its worse if your lens is a non protruding one fixed inside the camera. I got a Sony 7.2 mega pixel W80 and its pictures quality is stunning very sharp for a compact. It was given 5 stars too in some reviews. As for phone i would not buy the W580i very poor construction dreadful call quality very muffled rubbish sound for music and rubbish keys. Has good screen and camera pictures look nice on screen and it looks nice but dont get it. Buy a W910i or something.
