LG and Prada to Announce LG Prada II |

LG Electronics and Prada has released a official statement in Taiwan on their next iconic mobile phone. The LG Prada II will be upgraded to support HSDPA connection and with a QWERTY keyboard add on. Their first LG Prada phone was launched in early 2007.
Specifications of LG Prada II:
GSM 850/900/1800/1900, WCDMA 900/2100
HSDPA with 7.2Mbps capabilities
WLAN 802.11 b/g
3-inch WQVGA TFT Touch Screen, 400 x 240 resolution
5 megapixel camera
0.3 megapixel secondary camera for video call
Sliding QWERTY keyboard

LG's on a roll... they're really impressing lately, particularly over this past year with the Shine, Prada, Viewty etc (within their own respective niche areas)... and now this new crop are just continuing that momentum.

i read that the LG Prada, not the II, runs WinMo. so i think that this one runs WinMo as well.

I can see the advent of a new trend for 2008: a 5mp camera and WiFi on a non-smartphone. hey were the first to do it right?

However, LG Camera is 2 megapixels denser than X1's as well
Probably LG will use Schneider optics again on prada II.

Yes, but if the sensor is the same size as X1's, it'll also mean 5/3 times more noise. |
