Just wonder, can i patch my phone with heap shift.vkp for the second time?
I mean like by selecting "no to apply" again at SETool2lite?
I thought maybe i can fix my bluetooth menu problem. The case is i patched my fone with bluetooth icon patch once and i get 'value differs' but i keep continuing and get no icon at all (bluetooth icon is gone in active mode) as the result so i removed that patch. Everything is back to normal until i patch again with new different bluetooth icon patch. Now the new icon shows when it's active and gone when inactive but my problem now is when i open bluetooth menu at connectivity the first line always shows "Turn on" even when the bluetooth is active where it should shows "Turn off".

Anybody can help me by explaining how can i fix this or back to the topic, can i patch the heap shift again with hope that i can fix this problem.
Thank you very much...

if i were you, i'd reflash the MAIN. though you'd lose all the other patches installed.

correct...

and after flashing main, apply all patches you want and backup your main like that to have it for future reflashing, so you won't have to apply the QA patch again and go the procedure all over again...

Thank's tranced & strizlow800 !
I've flashed my fone 5times already an d i haven't try flashing only main. So can you tell me beside loosing all the patches i've put in then what is the other that i will loose? Please explain it to me cause i was planning to reflash the whole thing again tonight. For example what about gprs, mms, email settings? Do i have to set it again? As for the QA i think i have to put it again right?
One more dumb question, errh what do i have to do if i want to flash only main? Are there any tutorial or is it easy ?
Thank's again

if you flash the phone completely you will have your phone as new. you will have to add all the settings you had before. so you must flash the MAIN(where are all the patches applied to).

if you are planning to flash your phone using xs++, only check the MAIN box and add the MAIN youre going to flash the phone with.

*the settings are stored in the FS if im not mistaken.

You're right about the settings are stored in the fs cause i don't have to apply each settings i made but now comes even bigger trouble. After i flashed with main i did the quick access thing and patch my phone with all patch that i put before the bluetooth problems occurs. Now i can't access display settings, right after i choose the display tab my phone screen turns white and off. I have to take the batt to turn it on again. That's the first problem, the second is i can't enter the walkman player, my phone hangs when i open the player, and one more problem, Turn on at the bluetooth menu still there!
Well i guess i've waisted my time for flashing with main (and do not know the step by step), i just go reflashing from scratch again.
Hi hi hi....
