WPA Problem and Camera for New P1i |

Hi good guys/girls
I just received the phone from 02 UK on 27/3/08.
I have the latest firmware and I don't think I need any flash update (am i right?):-
Phone: CXC162037 R9K009
Bluetooth: CXC 162143 RID
Organiser: CXC 162108 R6G04
CDA:CDA 162024/92 R6A
Problem 1: My P1i gets connected but i am not able to browse any website. i get an error that says, cannot locate remote server. I have tried fixing it by raising the priority level of my home wireless connection to #1 but still to no avail.
Problem 2:Strange Problem:- My computer will get disconnected from the wireless internet when I manage to connect my phone to the router. (my computer did not display that it has conflict problem but it will be disconnected and even after I disconnect my p1i from the router, my computer will take time detecting the router back)
Problem 3: When I go see the log of the wifi connection, it says I have 4 client?!?!?! I am living with 3 other housemates but they are not in at the moment and I doubt that all their computers are on. What's the meaning of 4 client? My P1i has become a server??? G R E A T
Problem 4: New phone + New firmware still have green tint! Mine is quite obvious. Is there anywhere I can check whether my phone is from the latest batch from the factory?
Thanks |

HI, I haven't got any of the connectivity problems you have, but the camera is defintely slower etc than prior to the latest firmware update, which is weird, generally things should be better after the update, not worse...but that said the phone is bril!! otherwise. |

I have experienced problem 1 & 2 faced by you...
Solution for problem 1: Simple... You know your IP address??? Add 1 to the last digit on the right, like if it is 32 then make it 33 and put this new IP address in your phone's wifi setting... Also put in the gateway and sub netmask but unchanged...
Solution for problem 2: Simple... Either add 2 to the last digit in your PC's IP address
or
Add 1 to the last digit on the PC's IP address and add 2 in the phone's...
Hope this helps...
