Hi all,
I have been on a site and they have sent me my unlock code for the above code. At the beginning of the code it says enter the hash key. This will not work and says ' message too short ' anyone got any ideas how i can get past this bit.

What do you mean by unlocking? It sounds kinda like you mean a phone lock code or PUK code?

Nah, The phone is currently locked on the Vodafone network. I'm on o2 and want to put my sim card in it. I went onto the site and entered my imei and picked what network the phone was on. They send me the code with the following instructions:
1 - Switch ON your phone without SIM Card
2 - Press once the left arrow,
3 - Press twice the button * ,
4 - Press once the left arrow,
5 - The message "Personalize with MNC2" will appear
6 - You can now enter the unlock code we have sent you

They have sent me the code but it starts with a # then numbers with other # in it. The only problem is they as soon as you press the # key it says text too short

I guess this is kind of obvious and you've probably already tried, but did you give it a go without putting the #s in?

Bugger. Ok I'll leave it to someone with a bit more knowledge to help you out. Good luck!
