"As of February 29, the number of subscribers to mobile TV service in Korea is 11 million including 9.69 million to terrestrial DMB and 1.31 million to satellite DMB. If the growth continues at this rate, terrestrial DMB users will pass the 10 million mark in March.

According to the Broadcasting and Communications Commission and the Special Committee on Terrestrial DMB, over 520,000 T-DMB devices were sold and satellite DMB attracted 36,000 new subscribers during one month of February. Considering monthly sales of terrestrial DMB TVs from last December through February range from 440,000 to 520,000, the number of T-DMB users will exceed 10 million later this month or early next month.

I never really caught onto the idea of mobile tv myself. Think its waste of time money capacity on networks and its rubbish quality too. See no point.

They should free up the capacity on the networks and use what Virgin Mobile did with Mobile TV using it over DAB or something along those lines. Ah Austria a place i am planning to visit this year. When i was in Hungary i had better mobile coverage than i did here. Lol.
