Bought an O2 supplied new W890i but having problems setting up WAP for my Vodafone contract sim. Anybody able to help please. Vodafone don't seem to have supplied the settings to their customer service team yet! Tried using the Sony website support text configurations and they don't work either.

Thanks! Other than this - love this phone!

Try getting the W910i settings if you can. They'll be exactly the same.

Thanks guys. i've tried the W880i settings and although I can connect to Vodafone live it only shows the occasional text but no colours or graphics as I'm used to.

The W910i doesn't appear to have an over-the-air configuration page on the VF site yet either.

hmmmm .....

Tried getting the settings from the Sony Ericsson site? Think it comes under support.

Thanks. Tried the SE support settings text service - don't work either. VF have now sent me their manual configuration settings sheet, but these don't work either. can get so far as setting up the new connection proxy address, port, http etc. etc. but then it all goes funny. Maybe their is some software added to the VF handsets that I'm missing?

The fone is perfect for calls and texts, just not for web browsing.
