Hey guys,

I've noticed a problem with my k800i today. I was talking to my gf last night using this phone but was using the handsfree (HPM-70). This morning I took the headphones out and tried to call a friend and I see on the screen that they have picked up (because the timer starts ticking) but I can't hear anything! I thought it was probably some sort of connection problem, so I tried calling 2 other friends - same thing happened.

I tried playing music on the phone without headphones and it works. I plugged the headphones back in and called a friend and everything works.

So, its just that I can't hear anything when I call someone up without using the headphones. Anybody have any ideas what could be up?

Btw, I restarted the phone and nothing happened.
Thanks

Faulty ear speaker - the music plays out of the separate loudspeaker. If you feel confident in taking the phone apart it's a fairly simple process, the ear speaker is located in the top of the front housing, it should just need the contact prongs bending back up slightly into position
