hey ive had my k810i for about about 9 months now, but all of a sudden my number 3 button and my 'take photo' button seems to have started to go. the number 3 button seems not work occasionally, usually its fine, but when texting you can notice that it doesnt always work, very frustrating. the camera button barely works at all... neeed to hold it down very hard to take a picture.... i dont remember doing anything to cause this at all i didnt drop it etc...

what are my options? i bought it on an o2 18month contract... i
had a friend who had problems with her k850i and SE took a month to repair it for her - i dont think i could do without it for that long...

It sounds like it could be water damage. Is there any possibility of this?

Ultimately, if it's not water damage, you're in warranty, so take it to a repair centre nearby and they'll repair it. There's one near me and it's next day.

You could try calling O2 and seeing if they'll replace it, but it's unlikely after 9 months. [addsig]

This has happened to my 6 month old k810i, I've had trouble with the Number Keys and also the Joy Stick, I've mailed it off to the SE repair center and have normally waited about two weeks for them to return it, it is fixed when returned but the problem does seem to keep coming back.... and back....... and back =/

I'm not sure about O2 but it might be possible to take it to one of there stores, explain the problem and see if they can get it fixed for you and supply you with a temporary phone until your phone is repaired, you wont get anything amazing but its better then having no phone at all,

good luck with getting it fixed

That's if you send it off, though. If you call SE, you can find out where you local repair centre is and take it there. It's usually a 24 hour turnaround. [addsig]

It could have. I only mention it because some (if not all) service centres will charge you if they find water damage, regardless of whether you choose to pay to have it repaired or not. [addsig]
