K550 has best reproduction of the bear, but have worse reproduction of the yellowish brick (see behind). I don't like the brick's color.

The Sony digicam is over exposured. Just too overbright, many details isn't captured well.

K850's purplish, has the worse reproduction of the bear. I don't like the bear's color, but I like the way it captured the brick's color.

Nothing's perfect from my point of view.

BTW, I still think the most perfect way to determine which is the most perfect in capturing colors is by taking pics of some color index book, or color diagram (with some RGB/CMYK code written on it), so we can match it directly. Cause the codes never lie and isn't relative.

Cause if we just use "some objects" to take, the results will be very relative - it depends on anyone's taste, it depends on each monitor quality you have in your home, it depends on the color calibration of the monitor, etc.

@cocoquito, you didn't give us a reference to which color the teddy is supposed to be ... Deep Bright Red, Orange-based Red, or Bright Red with a pink hue?

Guys ... Red is the HARDEST color to accurately reproduce on ANYTHING!

There is a specific reason why ANY car painted red will have the highest insurance claim - relative to NE oTher color - for a deep scratch that needs that panel repainted! God forbid you have a red Ferrari which has a specific color of Red for every 10 years - look VERY carefully to the 308GTS/328GTS of the 1980's and compare it to to the 80s TestaRossa, then to the 348, and finally to the Marenello. Eyeball them if you do not believe me.

So slightly editing for Red Color reproduction is going to be SERIOUSLY tough - not to whom can edit them but also for someone to see the difference to those that haven't seen the subject directly in person with their own eyes.

Haven't done the exact same test with my K770. But I suppose, will be better in reds, worse in purples. Perhaps.

See, I don't have my K770 at the moment, but when it's in my hand, I try to make the test although I have to remake the whole test since the lighting condition will be different.
