Get yourself a T650i or a K810i even though they are a bit "old". |

i found a way to get better pics with my k800i without spending loads of money on a new phone my homemade camdriver easily produces better colour & perfect exposure time and didn't cost me a penny.
Wondering what Homemade Cam drivers will do to the K850i when modding comes around. Same with sound drivers. 1.5yrs passes and everyone forgets the months of anguish that the K800 add in the official thread here. Then SE got things sorted, same with the XS++ team and modding goes buck wilde!
Personally I like my new K850i - even though its branded in the firmware its very stable. Pics are blurry but I know its due to 2 things. I'm holding it wrong due to habit; and from what i've learned on the W810 & K790a, after the first 40/50 pictures or so then its better.
So the K850i is not a crowd pleaser, and I'm sure i'll have my issues with it later on. But we ALL get that way with EVERY phone eventually. We all upgrade don't we?!?

being contented in a kind of phone that is functioning well is the best answer.
remember were in the world of change. not bad if you want to buy those things. but when your talking bout the "happiness" of having it, well, go for the one that suits you well.
at present I have my k750i (even though i flash it now to W800) and i have it almost 2 years and yet still working fine. |

I think changing from a SE K850i to the Nokia N82 is a case of out of the frying pan and into the fire, lots of poor build quality issues - poor assembly and dodgy keyboards. I dipped my toe in the water, had to send two back. |

yes..... i bought it the very first day when it came to Sweden.
and yes, i send it back after some days, just beacuse of its dull screen and HORRIBLE joystick.
N82 is a good phone BUT is to ugly, to big and have a to dark screen, etc.
no more N82 for me.

Nokia screens. 16M colors but nothing to really expect from them. Really.

There is always something! No perfect phone yet. At least not for me. I still have my n95-2 love everything but the battery life. |

the n82 screen has the potential to get as bright as the n95 screen. It is just limited by the OS. While running some programs, my n82 screen turns soo bright that i can use it as a flash light lol. you can easily try this by putting the n82 on silence mode then have somebody calling you, the screen would start flashing on (very bright) and off.
The n82 screen has a very good quality and i think its bright enough as is. The build quality is superb and solid. |

Even N95 is not bright enough for me.
The main advantage of 16M color Nokia screens is.. you got the color shading soooo smoothly, and I admire that, but in the term of saturation, brightness/contrast, viewing angles etc newest SE wins easily.
