Right this morning my fone has started playing up. which i hate as i love the fone so much an have had no problems upto now.

The problem is everything is working fine APART from ma txt messages. i go to the menu n press the txt button (envelope) icon in menu, then i go to write new message n send it n it wont send for some un-known reason. ALSO when i scroll down to inbox i click it n the message appears saying 'OPERATION FAILED' and that same message appears when i also click drafts, outbox, sent messages n saved messages.

I havent a clue wot is wrong wit it. Has been working fine up to now. also i cant recieve messages as well. which is doin ma head in. But i can ring people. I've tried everythin from switching it off n waiting few secs n then turnin it bk on, taking sim card out n then puttin all bk togtha.

weird i need help guys n gals come on ....... thank you xxx

My friend had the same problem and it was cured with a master reset.

What you have to do is transfer all of your ringtones, pictures etc from the phone's memory to the memory card (via the file manager) and then do a master reset.

When you do a master reset all stuff stored on then phone will be erased and this includes emails and text messages etc, so be prepared to lose them. (After this you can find an option to save your texts to the memory card in the messenging settings menu in case it happens again).

It worked fine for her after that.

Phone contacts will be lost.
So save it on SIM. or take backup on desktop.

Glad you got it sorted out claire. It seems this is a common problem with some W910i's. Did you manage to restore all your contacts back from the mem card?
