I tried the iphone a few weeks ago and i just say this: Very nice and funny user interface but its just it... not a phone that i would ever buy. for that price theres a lot of better phones on the market... However if i wanted a dedicated music player i think i would go for the ipod touch |

Pros:
Thin, sleek design.
Bright, high-resolution display designed for video playback.
Slick "multi-touch" interface, "self switching" accelerometer, "proximity sensor", and ambient light sensor.
Clever "Visual Voicemail" makes it possible to select voicemail by sight in any order.
High-quality applications, including an excellent "desktop class" web browser, HTML capable e-mail client, and integrated Google Maps.
Support to read, but not edit, Microsoft Word and Excel as well as Adobe PDF files.
Relatively large storage capacity for a mobile phone (4 GB or 8 GB).
Built-in wi-fi and Bluetooth 2.0.
Built-in 2 megapixel camera for basic photography.
Potentially less expensive than an iPod nano and advanced mobile phone combined.
There is nothing about iphone except the UI and screen
I see that you are impressed by a 2 MP built-in cam without AF, thats why you are impressed by its features |

Lol, what a crock of crap
I could afford it if I want, I just WOULD NEVER HAVE ONE. I'd sell it and buy something thats actually worth it's value.

Well stop giving me a reason to lol
Like I said before, with a phone that causes this much controversy, this is going to happen.

Iphone is just new in the phone market and base on what it offers its just good for simple users and not with techie like me . But not bad for a new comer in mobile world. I hope the 3g version is much better and must have all the new technology to compete with other top mobile companies. |

I'm surprised the safari browser doesn't support flash. That makes the iphone browser no better essentially than any other phone running Opera, or even the latest Nokia browser (which supports flashlite 3)
Mind you without 3G a good browser is only really useful when you have wifi access.
It's a cute phone with innovative UI, but held back by lack of 3G and bluetooth file transfer.
EDIT: I just read somewhere iphone has EDGE, which if true is atleast something.
