And watch out! Your phone might not actually be R4ED001 at present, XS issue i think. In case u're flashing firmware check the service menu.

what is the EROM color,i've found an article in spanish about that,but i couldn't translate it with google,can someone give me info on that,and what's the difference between flashing the whole package and just putting different drivers? |

EROM RED: it's when the phone is for the final user(us).
EROM BROWN: this is when the phone is being developed
EROM BLUE: this is when the phone doesnt have the completed software or it's being developed

flashing the whole package? you mean a full flash(MAIN and FS)?
making a full flash you will get your phone as it were formatted. putting drivers to your phone means that you change the drivers, as in the camera or acoustic(audio controller). you dont need to flash your phone if you want to upload drivers to your phone.

READ tutorials!! Go through forums and articles!! Document yourself thoroughly before starting a flash or bugging around with GDFS coz you wouldnt want to fing urself with a dead phone!

i've heard that MAIN and FS not necessarily have to be the same version nor the custom. it depends what you need

ok,i've flashed my phone now,or at least i think so,the problem is now that i can't switch off my phone,it hangs for a minute or two then restarts,i've never seen or heard of something like that really,and i can't access messages which is the big problem now,what have i done wrong? |

ok,i thought about that too,but what are the files to delete before i flash because i didn't delete any,i think that's what caused it |

you dont need to delete any files. when you flash the phone, all files that were before get deleted.
