Mysh hasn't been around any forums he posts on for at least a year now (see the finding mysh thread in Symbian forum).
If you all remember, M3 has a built in auto-update feature that runs when M3 starts. Shortly after Mysh stopped posting here M3 started saying it expired and needed updating then suddenly it started working again. Mysh must have changed something on the server page that handles the update.
I reckon for this amount of people to be having trouble with M3 there must be a problem with the auto-update routine. I always wondered how long M3 would last after development was abandoned.
Anyone else having trouble?

if you need to convert vids, try Super converter, works a treat.

My M3 stopped working too. I believe it's a Windows update, since I've just converted something 2-3 days ago. Apparently my MSN has better graphics and I've noticed my computer lags more often :-/ Changing the date didn't solve the problem, and neither did re-installing...
I also have Super on my computer, but it drains more ram on my computer and it takes so much longer to boot up...Converting seems to take forever too... |

Mine is present the same problem, but I've found a solution.
Just use it when you're not connected.
It works for me, although I don't know why...

i've also found a solution.. At first, when i started program, the message "program has stopped responding bla bla and needs to close" appeared.
I just ignored that, dragged it away (under the clock), and started encoding the movie. And it worked next time i will do the same thing again |

if that works, just block the internet access for M3 in your firewall and you shouldnt have to disconnect each time you want to use it

I just blocked "www.vapulus.c*m" in my router and M3 works as good as ever. Thanks! |
