My K800i wont make any sound. |

Help!
I'm going travelling for 5 months in less than a week so i dont want to get a new phone (i will if i have to) but my phone wont ring any more, it wont play any sound when i use the media player either.
Any ideas? |

did you drop it? Do the service tests ie >*<<*<*
where > = right <= left on the joystick.

My K800i has done that 2-3 times. No ringer signal and no loudspeaker sound, but in those cases, it helped to turn off the phone, remove the battery, and then reinsert the battery and turn on the phone. |

done all of that, still no sound. took it into the orange shop near me today and its being replaced tomorrow free of charge! RESULT! |

Had the same thing happen a week ago. My problem was that the backspeaker got messed up somehow. I took it back to my SP and they replaced the speaker and internal antenna. Apparently you can't replace the one without the other. Seems to be a common problem with K800s then. Now it's workin perfectly. Mental note: Try not to play music/sound too loud in future because it seems the backspeaker is quite fragile in some fones.

well i dont use my phone to play music i was just doing it as a test to see whether it was working or not. |
