Hmmm, I was about to post a reply in regards to the people advising that the phone will be available on O2 from Monday - thought it was too good to be true, especially with O2. |

I phoned O2 and she said "Oh yeah, the X1, that's out".
So she then checked and said that it would be out week commencing 13 October.
I said. "So you're getting it on Monday?" And she said "No, we'll get it week commencing Monday but we can't release prices until we actually get it in stock".
Waaaa.

When Nokia says their mobile will be shipping on x date, most will get shortly after that x date.
Sadly, SE always "out-of-date"

When I made that post... it said the 13... now end of month, that is crazy...
Spoke with 2 people in O2 Direct and they seem to think the handset will be here week commencing the 13th... (Which now looks very unlikely)
However CPW say around week commencing 27th....
Lets see what happens now...

There´s an online chatt at mobil.se (swedish) with a spokesman from SE. On the question if X1 has 256 or 384 ram the answer was..... 256. So i think its pretty clear now if that was still a questionmark.

Well, Carphone Warehouse are now getting it on 20th October according to their website. I wish it were true that O2 get it on Monday, but I won't hold my breath.
Oh well, guess whichever one gets it first will get my custom! |
