Phonearena has also a app where you compare all known phones to eachother sizewise.

Well the one shown here runs like a dog! If that is what we can expect FORGET IT!
Its been a long time since I have seen so much lag on a device that seemed to be running nothing more testing than its standard mode, if that is it at its best I am right, the X1 is all just a load of hype.
Didn't anyone read the article itself?... It plainly states several lines below the video that it's a PROTOTYPE..... I know it's being translated using Google translate, but still that's how I understood it.... |

@ Hansen:
I don't think that that is a prototype box. Looks pretty official to me. I think that anything after September 30th, we can call it official.
Yesterday I watched an unboxing clip featuring the final box. It looks much more elegant, using the panel pattern as a decoration on the front. I can't seem to find it right now, though.
Oh, are you serious? if you find it, please do post up the link.
I would like to see the final boxing then. |

Blimey, thats well expensive! So on O2 it's only free if you have a £96 a month contract (ex. VAT) -thats well bad.
Carphone Warehouse have got the stands for the Xperia in now. Well, in the Cambridge and Saffron Walden branches anyway. Also got a tarriff on O2 of £45 a month, free handset, 1200 minutes and unlimited texts which isn't too bad. Hopefully if the stands are there, the handset shouldn't be too long either. |

It's only £499 from play.com delivered. I currently pay £10 a month for my T-mobile contract with unlimited 3G. I never get the "free" or "subsidised "handset deals, I much prefer the much lower line rental when you negotiate a renewal without a new handset. I think I win out in the long run. Incidentally at Play they have all the other features listed pretty much spot on as far as I can tell and they say it has an accelerometer. |

Yeah someone should really tell Play.com that the X1 does NOT have an accelerometer! It's a bit misleading. |
